Benson & Loesch, PLLP

John G. Benson is an attorney with more than 30 years of experience in immigration law practice. Most of his work involves employment-based visa matters for companies wanting to hire foreign-born employees or transfer existing employees from foreign offices to the United States. He serves a wide variety of clients including colleges and universities, software development firms, engineering consulting firms, manufacturers, greenhouse and landscaping companies, and hospitals and medical clinics. He obtained his B.A. from Carleton College, 1970, and his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law, 1982. He has been in solo practice since 1990. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Abigail Loesch offers 10+ years of experience as an immigration attorney working with individuals, families, and businesses. She obtained her B.A. from Carleton College, 2006, and her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, 2012. After graduation, she worked as a staff attorney for two years at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid in Willmar, Minnesota. She opened her own law office as a solo practitioner in 2015. She and John Benson founded their law firm in 2016. She speaks Spanish and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
